{Christmas} 2015

Christmas 2015 was...
simple and special

filled with family
a few gifts
and our Happy Birthday, Jesus party
in the barn.
It was probably my favorite Christmas ever!

Seth is 6!!!

Seth is 6!

He requested a celebration at the creek just like his brother
So that's how we celebrated his birthday, Saturday.
We searched for shells, skipped rocks, and enjoyed time with family and friends.
Happy Birthday, my boy!

Silas is 4!

Silas is 4!
On Saturday, we celebrated his birthday with friends and family at the creek that's a mile from our house. Our boy searched for treasures in the creek, ate gluten-free Funfetti cake, bashed a thrifted bull pinata, and opened a few presents.

Monday (his actual birthday), he enjoyed some frozen yogurt from Stakz, made special by some candles and a birthday hat,
and licked his birthday lollipop on the front porch.

I hope it was one incredible birthday weekend for our sweet, adorable 4 year old!

First Day of Spring 2015

It's officially Spring!
Today we celebrated (after our morning at Co-op) by...
picking daffodils

creating art with Spring stamps
reading (only a few) books from our Spring collection
helping the birds create colorful nests
 filling our bird feeders
watering our seedlings
and preparing our porch for lots of time spent outdoors
 Happy First Day of Spring!

A Tooth Celebration

Last night, Seth lost his first tooth!
 So today we celebrated...
We added some tooth activities to our day.

And every (first) tooth lost in our family gets a "tooth" cake.
Silas is only three and he's already looking forward to losing his first tooth.

Happy Winter Solstice 2014!

On this darkest day of the year, we embrace the new season. Here's to eating dinner by candlelight, slowing down, and gaining strength to hit the ground running in Spring. Happy First Day of Winter!

Seth is 5!

 Today Seth is 5!
We had a birthday celebration on Saturday for him that included homemade strawberry cake, scooter riding, lunch at Chuck E. Cheese (they have gluten-free pizza!), a laid-back party at home, and playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The day was filled with family and friends and our boy had such a good time!
